By the late 16th century, the church was a mess – the leaders were corrupt, no longer concerned about aligning themselves with God’s Word and seeking His Will. God hadn’t abandoned His people though – a movement began that had lasting effects across Christianity and the entire world. We now refer to this as the Reformation, and the beliefs of the early Reformers can be summarized into five statements called the Five Solas. What are these truths and are they still significant in the 21st century?

This spring, the Women in the Library will explore the answer to those questions in a 6 week study led by Ashley. We will look at the five statements and their relevance to our lives and culture today. We’ll be going through the book “The Five Solas: These truths alone” by Jason Helopoulos.

If you are interested in joining us, please RSVP to Ashley  at library@cbclilburn.org.
