Nature study encourages children to slow down, observe carefully, and develop a lifelong sense of wonder about the world around them. Megan Palich will be leading this nature study on the topic of social insects: bees, ants, and wasps. These tiny creatures are fascinating in how they work together, their nests, and their life cycles. This hands-on program is designed to spark fascination and wonder in the children, as well as teach parents and caregivers how to guide their children in nature studies going forward. We will meet in the outdoor classroom behind the church building (weather permitting).
